Little Busters! The Feels in This Are Extreme!

Little Busters has been an absolute high light for me in the anime field. It has wit, unpredictability, sadness, cuteness and mostly...helping your friends. It may sound cliched and friend-zoneish, but it isn't like that. Little Busters is actually the name of the baseball team in this anime. The more you know.

Anyway Naoe, the main teenaged boy who suffers from narcolepsy, has his own little group of friends that includes Rin, Kyousuke, Masato and Kengo. One day, Kyousuke descides to make a baseball team with his group of friends. Rin doesn't want to since she isn't prone to girls. Later in the story she gets to be better with girls.

This anime may be a bit confusing at first but, you'll love it in the end! I would classify it as slice of life, school and adventure. I recommend this to everyone and it has to be the cutest baseball anime around! I know I didn't write much but the story un-folds quickly, so I can't say much anyway (^^).

Flowers of Evil! The Colder Way to Describing Life!

Flowers of Evil follows a teenaged boy who has a book fetish (in a way) named Takao. He steals some gym clothes from a fellow female class mate and deosn't have enough courage to return them. He didn't mean to steal them but Sawa thinks he did. She then starts calling him a pervert and makes a "contract" with him so she will keep quiet. Then upon the contract, he has to follow Sawa's every command which sometimes leads to him being late home and taking all the other girls' underwear while having gym class.

This makes a few problems and spins Takao's life out of control. I've only read most of the manga so I am yet to see the anime.

If you love thrillers and psychological anime/manga I strongly suggest this to you! This is a very interesting and weird one but its unique in it's own little ways.

Black Butler! My Personal Favorite!

(Now last time, I'm sorry I never announced what I was to do next, but I have decided to do one of my favorites, Black Butler [Kuroshitsuji as some would know it as ^^] )

Black Butler has long been one of my favorites from early 2012. I had found out about it in 2011 and was already watching a series, so I didn't want to ruin it and mix characters up or anything. The thing that I found most appealing were all the pictures I saw of it. Some of Ciel (the main character that has made a contract with Sebastian), some of Sebastian (the demon Ciel made a contract with), some of the Phantomhive servants, etc.. The art was very lovely, of course, considering that it was set in the 1800s. So that means there is a lot of lace (for Ciel funnily enough haha) and a lot of fancy, hard to draw clothing.

Because the manga is still on going and the anime had finished with a cliffhanger ending, I was quite disappointed and I hope that they make another series. Anyway...

Ciel makes a contract (because I seem to have skipped this ^^;) with Sebastian because he wants revenge. Revenge for what? Ahh.. his parents were killed in a blaze at the mansion (the whole place was on fire!!) and he wanted to get revenge on whoever set the fire. It takes him probably all the two series' to figure out... sorry... to have finally gotten a new character introduced into the story that Sebastian can sense (sure make the butler do all the work XD)

It may sound like I am bad mouthing this, but in reality I really do enjoy this (that's surprising..)! I even have a few drawings of my own from the series (since I draw on the computer using mouse by the way ^^). I recommend this to everyone if you can handle gruesome and the dreaded "episode 17". I'm going to keep what it actually is a secret.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya & The Disappearance or Haruhi Suzumiya!

(I know I said in my last post "tomorrow" but I'm bored and want to write now ^^)

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is nothing short of thrilling. It has it's happy moments and it's serious or sad moments which evens out the anime quite well. TMOHS (to shorten writing time) is about Kyon (the narrator who through out the series only uses his nickname), Haruhi (a very energetic girl who runs the world-literally), Mikuru (a time-travelling girl that is a little moe-or at least the guys think so), Yuki (an alien that is very quiet and mysterious) and Itsuki (a non-stop smiler that is also an esper).

Haruhi starts a club called "The SOS Brigade" and in their club they investigate the many mysteries of the Earth. Funnily enough, everyone in the SOS Brigade besides Haruhi knows the gangs secrets e.g. Itsuki being an esper. Even Haruhi her self doesn't know that she can changes the world just with her mood alone.

In a part of the series, there are a couple of episodes called the "Endless Eight" which literally do not end. They keep looping one episode after another. All that changes are their clothes. After figuring out (finally) that they are looping, Yuki says how many times they have looped. Ni, I don't remember the number, but it is way more than eight! Because the episodes are the same, feel free to skip a few if you need.

I recommend this to anyone who is gutsy enough to suffer through eight episodes.. even I did! (Skipped them.. woops~) But seriously guys, this anime packs in serious, playful and downright sad into one episode! I do indeed recommend this!

Now for the movie.. (movie?) yes movie! The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is a movie in which Kyon discovers that Haruhi and Itsuki never went to his school. He also finds that Mikuru has never met him and the only one that can help is Yuki. Now, I won't spoil it for you, but this is a really good movie. The same can be said for the soundtrack too being dramatic and using string instruments perfectly!

Free! The Popular Swimming Anime That is Causing a Tsunami!

This anime has caught the eye of many. Sorry.. I'll rephrase that. This anime has caught the eye of girls. Sounding and (if you glance) looking like a typical shounen anime, you would expect flocks of males to watch it. And, yes, they still do but being a total fanservice anime, the females nose-bleed over it.

Now I haven't watched any so I can't be too judgmental, but, I have heard many a thing from it.

#1: It does indeed have a lot of fanservice in it. Yes, I know what you're thinking.. how much fanservice does one anime need to have this many mentions of "fanservice"? Well.. it has one scene where one of the male protagonists (like I said, I haven't watched it so I don't know his name ^^;) slowly comes out of the bath.. but is wearing swim shorts. Total buzz kill for the ladies out there (not me ^^).

#2 Enough fanservice (really?!). It does have really good animation and design! I have seen pictures, the trailer (thanks to my friend since she introduced the darn thing to me there I already said thanks ^^;) and a Gigguk (popular You-tuber) video. Personally, it has the best looking water than any other anime I have seen.. and Studio Ghibli has some pretty good stuff (even though Studio Ghibli has mostly moveis haha).

I would reccommend this.. except if you don't like skin and playing the song "Bringing Sexy Back" in your head while you watch the fanservice then this isn't for you. But if you really like that and enjoy four guys doing their swimming thing, be my guest!
